Museum Dar Essid Review

The Dar es Salaam Museum and the famous Baldu National Museum are very similar, which houses many relics of ancient civilizations, the most famous of which are mosaic murals, both animal images and maps. There are even many of the patterns we have now mosaic floor tiles that are really very old and amazing.

I went with my 9 year old son who likes history and this blew us away. It is an amazing little house that has all the original furniture, paintings, clothes and extras from the period. There is a fee toilet up near the roof and it is cool in the middle of the day. You can even climb the tower which is the second highest point in Sousse so save yourself 8 dinar to climb the Ribat and do this instead. You have to pay for children but it’s well worth the small amount that it costs. It’s then a short walk to the Kasbah museum.

The Salam Museum is a middle-class family remodel, with a lower standard of living, a lot of things very unique and beautiful furniture.

Private museums, you can try it when you have time, very convenient.
