A little museum dedicated to the handbag and purse. It's spread over several floors of a historic canal home. The most interesting bags for me were the older ones and all the information regarding daily life in the 16th or 17th century and how as times changed, bags and purses changed. Sadly, the museum seemed to be curated oddly. Although the rooms were labeled chronologically, it was very difficult to follow and the 20th/21st century rooms had large sections dedicated to the 19th century. This made it difficult to follow a narrative so to speak and by the time you got to the later centuries it was more like, "Aren't these cute bags?" rather than much of significance. They have a gorgeous cafe area where they serve high tea (I'll update once I've been there) and historic-style lunch. Obviously if you like fashion, this is fun, but I wouldn't necessarily run out to see it again.
