National Museum of History Review

Taiwan History Museum, referred to as the Museum of History, was originally called the Museum of Historical Cultural Relics, the first public museum established after the government of the Republic of China moved to Taiwan, and some of the cultural relics came from the original Henan Museum (now Henan Museum). The original site is the Taiwan Governor's Mansion's property exhibition hall built in the Japanese period in 1916. After the Shibo Hall moved in, the overall building was gradually converted from the original wooden building to a Chinese palace. After many years of closure, the museum was rebuilt and reopened for public visits in 2024. part 3

The museum is often advertised as an art collection and is not afraid to compare it with the Palace Museum, so I decided to visit it here. Imagine how surprised and frustrated I was when I stood in front of the museum’s gate and read that the museum was closed for three years of renovation work. This museum has not been advertised for renovation anywhere and it is quite disappointing to me. Fortunately, the Botanical Garden and Nanheng Market are just around the corner from this museum... I can visit...

The location is near the presidential palace, you can walk, but it is a bit far from the MRT station. It is recommended to visit nearby attractions together, so that you will not be so tired. Next to the botanical garden, you can visit it from time to time. There are exhibitions that can be visited. The ticket price is not necessarily, depending on the content of the exhibition. Pricing, It was a Pixar animation show, quite interesting.

Taiwan History Museum, referred to as Taiwan Shibo, Taiwan Shibo, is located in Nannan District, Tainan City, covering an area of 20 hectares. The exhibition focuses on Taiwan's history, including the history of long-term interaction between multiple ethnic groups and Taiwan's natural environment. Treasure pavilion is worth a visit.
