This is a great opportunity to learn more about Vietnam’s history (and culture). Beautiful artifacts, including art, musical instruments, costumes and old (before the Vietnam War) military items. The museum’s complex is surrounded by a central courtyard where you can stroll past one by one. There is a lot of Vietnamese folklore on display. We loved the sculptures here, no air conditioning, a bit hot, but it was still worth a visit. It could be very crowded - it proves its value as a tourist spot. As I explored this fascinating museum full of Vietnamese historical treasures, I felt like Indiana Jones, from its prehistoric, medieval Cham period and colonial history. The artifacts were really amazing and the signage was very good. Highly recommended.
