The National Archives of the Sobis Hotel is a very mysterious place, where many of the archives are not open to the outside world.

A not very well promoted or visited attraction in the Marais district that we found fascinating. The museum is presented in a beautiful chateau and displays some amazing historical documents and artifacts including, for example, a letter written by Joan of Arc. Descriptions of exhibits are helpful although some are not in English. But there is an English guide. This museum was a surprise and we enjoyed it very much for a couple of hours. If you have any interest at all in history, I highly recommend this museum.

The temporary exhibition "Sheep War" at the National Archives Museum in Paris is on display from Wednesday, December 15, 2021 to Monday, April 18, 2022. The exhibition is located in the exhibition hall on the second floor, featuring historical photos and some wool products. This article tells the history of the wool war and the historical changes of French wool products. Throughout the history of the Lambouillet national sheep pen and the ultrafine wool Merino sheep provided to France by the Spanish king on the eve of the Revolution, it tells us that this is a war that has been going on for more than 200 years. As a showcase for France, it is the best training ground for shepherds in the country. The British wool industry movement was foiled by Napoleon, who appeared in all international exhibitions in the 19th century, and wool was exported to all continents. The exhibition features a wealth of extraordinary portraits ((prints, watercolors, photographs, wool sample tables, etc.)...) The Battle of the Sheep brings readers into a story that intersects with animal husbandry, industry, trade, science and diplomacy, an unprecedented study of research, Bringing together historians and animal science experts, it tells us another major event in French history.

A magical building that combines modern fashion with classical art. Many of the archives here are information that has never been disclosed at the top secret level. The archives are well indexed and clearly indexed. It is a place full of mystery.
