Nelson's Column in Trafalgar Square is surrounded by wonderful places to visit. The National Gallery; a walk west down Whitehall will take you to Horse Guards Parade, then by No. 10 Downing Street, ending up in Parliament Square. East on foot will take you to Piccadilly, Soho etc. Trafalgar Square is the point from which all distances are measured in the UK so it truly is the heart of the country.

In the middle of Trafalgar Square, Admiral Nelson died in the Battle of Trafalgar in 1855. The Nelson Memorial Column is more than 50 meters high, with the National Gallery and Buckingham Palace on one side.

Nelson Memorial Column stands in the middle of Trafalgar Square, which is also one of the must-see attractions in London. This year, we live in a very tall and magnificent place. The black bronze lion carved around us is very powerful. The whole Memorial pillar is beautiful, magnificent and solemn.

Nelson Memorial Column is 53 meters high, standing in Trafalgar Square, in front of the National Gallery of Art, is basically one of the contents that visitors must see. The monument was built to commemorate Nelson, a famous British Navy General and military strategist. Around the broad base of the monument pillar, there was a powerful black copper lion, each of which was exquisite and solemn.

The Nelson Memorial Column is located in Trafalgar Square in memory of Admiral Horachaw Nelson, who died in the naval battle of Trafalgar in 1805. It is made of bronze cannons captured from Napoleon's army. It is 53 meters high. The four walls under the pillar are bronze sculptures of four famous battles directed by Nelson in his life.

The monument was built on the top of Carlton Hill to commemorate Admiral Nelson. It is recommended to go up in the evening because it is a great place to watch the sunset.
