Ng Fook Thong Temple (Tokong Ng Fook Thong / ங் பிஹூக் தாங் டெம்ப்லே /五福堂) Review

This is the United Cantonese District Association clan temple. Built in 1898 by Kapitan Chung Keng Kwee, this was recorded as the first Cantonese School in Malaysia. Built by craftsmen brought in from Southern China, the temple features exquisite craftsmanship and architectural features. The roof and gables are lined with porcelain figurines. There is a forecourt before the temple entrance with an inner court inside. Ancestral tablets line both sides of the main alter. Located in Chulia Street, it is worth a visit if in the area.

The history of the Guangfu Club has been a long time, and it is called Wufu College. It has undertaken some tasks of Chinese education and let Chinese culture grow here.
