北大街是阿德来的这个城市最有风情的一条街道了，倒不是说它有非常著名的建筑或者景点，而是这里的那种感觉就像是一直延续下来的，非常的有历史的情境。

North Terrace adelaide.Theoretically, the northern side of North Terrace is part of the Adelaide Parklands. However, much of the space between North Terrace and the River Torrens is occupied by cultural institutions and other public buildings. Great spot to walk on a nice day, many attractions are along the way including museum, art gallery and botanic gardens. A short stroll away is also the main outdoor shopping mall.

North Terrace is the northernmost street in the Adelaide grid, and one of four terraces that make up the city centre’s outer square. North Terrace is home to many of Adelaide’s impressive civic buildings, such as the State Library, the University of Adelaide and the South Australian Museum. It’s a nice street to walk along and view some great architecture, and there’s loads to do and see here.

阿德莱德艺术大街--北大街 North Terrace 承载着南澳大利亚的历史，这么说不仅仅是因为在这条街上聚集着阿德莱德大学、州立艺术馆、博物馆、图书馆和州总督府等文化历史建筑，更是因为它本身就是历史的一部分。这条青翠葱茏的林荫大道从市中心延伸而出，沿路两侧分布着为数众多的战争纪念馆、教堂和雕像。这些雕塑都是历史的重要组成部分，纪念着在澳洲历史上作过重要贡献的人们。在阿得莱德如果只能逛一条街，那肯定就是北大街。我还真同意这种说法，因为就这一条街也不是一时半会儿能逛完的哦！从威廉国王街 King William St 开始向东，依次为：图1：南澳总督府；图2：绘制了世界上第一幅澳大利亚全图的英国航海家、探险家、杰出的地图绘制者 - 马修·弗林德斯 Matthew Flinders 塑像；图3：阿德莱德国家战争纪念碑 National War Memorial, Adelaide；图4：南澳大利亚州立图书馆State Library of South Australia-学会楼；图5：南澳博物馆South Australian Museum；图6：南澳美术馆埃尔德翼楼Elder Wing；图7：阿德莱德大学主楼 - 米切尔楼 Mitchell Building；图8：南澳大利亚大学 University of South Australia；图9：阿大对面的阿德莱德苏格兰教会 Scots Church Adelaide；图10：北大街东端艾尔斯大宅博物馆 Ayers House Museum。
