Ovila Street (OlveraStreet) is a Mexican street, formerly known as the "Angel Walking Road", belonging to the small street adjacent to the square, it is said to be the original street of Los Angeles, and there is still a Mexican legacy. The whole length is less than a thousand yards on the masonry road that is prohibited from vehicles. There are many Mexican restaurants, exotic shops and vendors on both sides, full of exotic atmosphere, residents of mostly Mexican descent, still wearing Spanish-style clothing. In addition to restaurants and small shops, the most worth seeing in Old Street Ovila is the oldest existing building in Los Angeles in the middle of Old Street - one of the earliest houses built by Spanish immigrants who came to settle here. It is a home built in 1818 by wealthy farmers.
