During this trip to Singapore, I chose to stay at the Florence Hotel. This hotel is an old building, and it used to be like an old post office. Personally, I don't feel inferior to the Sands Hotel in the center of the sea. When we went in to check in, many tour groups came to visit here. The location of the hotel is very good. After walking through the underground passage of the hotel, you can go directly to Merlion Park, where you can see the Ferris wheel and Sands. If you walk to Clarke Quay, you can walk for about 10 minutes, especially in the evening, it is very comfortable. The entrance of the hotel is the Singapore River and the view is great. My favorite is the hotel's infinity pool. Although it is not as tall as Sands, it is much quieter than Sands. It is really a swimming pool where you can go to the pool to relax and rest. From the pool, it is the Singapore River. If you want to recommend accommodation in Singapore, Florence is a good choice.



This place is a must visit for a night out in Singapore! Start by reaching here between 6.30 to 7pm to catch the famous merlion before walking over to One Fullerton. There are many restaurants to choose from! We were at Jypsy and it was packed! So do make reservation early!Choose al fresco seats for excellent view of the marina bay area, as it transits from day to night.And before you leave, do go back to the merlion park to take some photos with it under the night sky!
