A tree mountain is located in Cornwall Park. It was named after a pine tree that once stood near the top of the mountain. Now the pine tree is no longer there. Sir Campbell was honored as the father of Auckland. In commemoration of his contribution to Auckland, Sir Campbell created his bronze statue in memory. The eruption left behind a circular crater, covered with dense lawns, like a huge, green bowl in front of people. Free-range sheep graze leisurely, forming a beautiful picture of the countryside.
