Institute for the Study of Ancient Cultures Museum Review

My family loves museums. We're looking for museums that focus on ancient Egypt. It's a great museum. You don't feel rushed or crowded here. It's a good place.

A relatively deserted museum, but there are still a lot of exhibits.

It's awesome that the University of Chicago has its very own museum on campus! I've been there for classes and just for fun and it's always worth the short walk.

Head of a man - winged body of a bull. Wonderful and amazing treasures of egypt and mesopotamia. Pictured artifact is HUGE. Docents are FASCINATING.

The Oriental Institute is the largest Asian cultural exhibition area here. Many Chinese cultures can be seen, as well as Japanese special clothes.
