Wilder's former residence, located in the northwest corner of Merion Square Park, is Dublin's most famous son, poet writer Wilde lived in childhood. The house is now occupied and used by the American Academy of Dublin, and the bottom two floors of the house are open to the public as Wilde's memorial.
