It was worth a visit to see how extravagant the governor was then. Lots of oil paintings, art treasures. We were lucky to get in when there were no people in line.

The Governor's House of Mantova is a famous building in Milan, Italy. It tells the history of the city and records the glory of the triumphal return of the Roman dynasty. You can feel as if you are back in medieval Europe. The history is right in front of you.

The Governor's House, located in downtown Milan, is a Gothic-style building built in the 15th century. The House is now open as an art museum. The walls and ceilings of the main hall are engraved with magnificent sculptures. The side hall has several knights of the Mantova period.
