A very engaging museum that uses a personal story to tell the history of the Palmach which is the elite fighting team that helped create the state of Israel. It is a must see if you are in Tel Aviv.

The Palmach Museum is very new, it opened a year ago 2010. It is done pretty well with video projections. It tells the story of the pre-state Jewish underground which later became part of the IDF- the Israel Defense Forces. Both of my grandfathers were part of this group so for me it was very interesting. I think it is a really good museum if you want to learn about the pre-state Israeli underground groups. I find it very educative and I learned a lot.
