Kangding City has been guarded by three hills since ancient times. Standing in the southeastern part of the city, Peima Mountain, Tibetan name "Ramsay" means Fairy Mountain. Mountaineering by the city, the mountain seems ridgeless, homophonic name South Rifless Mountain. The top of the mountain is a mountain lake and five-color sea, so it is also called five-color Haizi Mountain. Running horse mountainside platform, Tibetan name "Dengtuo", meaning cushion. In the Northern Song Dynasty, Lam Temple (fairy temple) was built on this terrace hill. The incense was prosperous. There were more than 700 lamas in prosperity, and then they were burned in the war. In the Qing Dynasty, the Chieftain of Ming Dynasty offered sacrifices to the gods of mountains and held horse races on the 13th May of the lunar calendar. The riders and herdsmen from far and near came to participate in the race. During the contest, "Dento" mountain plateau, gathered Kangding urban and rural audiences. The chieftain and the wealthy household set up white tents to watch and play on the edge of the forest. During the race, the contestants all wore new colors and rode horses. At the beginning of the race, the Tusi ordered the racers to race up the hill. First-come-first, followed by two to five. The top five were awarded different portions of Hada, tea and flower red, while the last five were given sticky noodles by the masses to drive away bad luck. From the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China, the Jockey Club was held every year on the "Dento" hillside. In a long time, Kangding people called this place Running Horse Mountain.
