Petra is a historical ancient city in southern Jordan, one of the mysterious ancient cities in the southern Jordanian desert and one of Jordan's most prestigious monuments. On July 8, 2007, it was named the new seven wonders of the world. Hidden within a narrow canyon linking the Dead Sea and the Aqaba Strait, it is surrounded by mountains, canyons and passageways through which the building is mostly carved and carved from rocks, with Oriental traditions and Greek style.
