Phuket Mining Museum Review

This is a huge museum with lots of unexpected, educational, interesting and bizarre exhibits. The cost is 50 baht per person. We are the only guests to visit slowly at our own pace. Staff won’t bother you and will not charge extra for taking pictures. There was no air conditioning at the time and it was hot, 10 baht to get a bottle of cold water. It’s pleasant to drive here, there are lots of parking spaces and plenty of space for kids to explore. My kids loved it and would love to visit again. I have been to Phuket many times but never heard of or visited this wonderful museum. This was a great recommendation from my personal driver (a unique half-day trip arranged for me by a female taxi driver in Phuket) and this was fantastic. The museum is a hidden treasure, and it is full of interesting historical materials (including audio and video, see the video I shared). Classic here combines archaeology, biology, historical humanities, ancient craftsmanship, machinery manufacturing and geology with a comprehensive display education. I have to say that it is really worth a visit (the ticket is only 100 baht), and it is not an exaggeration to say that it is awesome.
