Piana di Castelluccio di Norcia Review

When we visited this place is early June and the only colors appear in meadow is green grass and yellow flower. It wasn''t colorful as the picture shown in TA. Maybe July is better time to see the peak of blooming flowers with many colors. However, this plain is surrounded by mountains and hills and field of lentils. We only stop for brief since it doesn''t live up our expectation. If come at the right time, this place is very beautiful.

Castro Cio Park is the largest flower sea in Italy. It used to be an ancient and huge lake in the Apennines. It covers an area of about 15 square kilometers. Next to it is a small town called Norcia, with only 150 people. It only takes three hours to drive from Rome. This group is the beautiful picture of the middle of July this year, yellow rapeseed, red Yumei, blue cornflower, white chamomile super beautiful!

A place with good air, beautiful scenery, natural carving is very magical, and the whole tour is very interesting and cost-effective.
