The Spanish Plaza is named after the nearby Spanish Embassy. The princess played by Hepburn in the Roman holiday is eating ice cream on the Spanish steps of this square, which makes the Plaza of Spain a household name and thus a must-see point for many tourists. The square is located under the hill where the Trinity Church in Rome is located, and in the center is a boat-shaped fountain surrounded by historical relics such as the French church, Shelley's former residence, and the Innocent and Pure Virgin.
