Speaking of Florence, although Xu Zhimo had given it a noble and cool name: the cold green, but under the golden sun, the whole city was covered by orange roof tiles, lazily lying in the green of the mountains, a blue ribbon called the Arno River divided it into two parts It is a city where Dante, da Vinci, michelangelo, raphael and others have lived, a city closely connected with the renaissance. I believe that all Chinese students, the first time they have touched Western history is the Renaissance, and after a few years, they can see the original original print paintings in the textbooks, and walk around the city where the masters lived. It is really a happy thing. The buildings of Florence were tightly squatting, leaving only a narrow road for people to walk through, and these sheep-gut trails unwittingly led visitors to the wide squares and churches. 1️⃣ The Basilica of the Virgin Mary is as beautiful as her name, she is a rare colored church in Europe, the dome designed by Brunelleski, and later became the prototype of the dome of St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. Her fourth-largest Catholic church in the world, it is not only grand, but more importantly it is a representative building throughout the early Renaissance. The church’s exquisite facade features a typical 19th-century Gothic revival style, with a complex geometric shape of white, pink and dark green, allowing people to experience the inner sense of order in the dazzling. The church is free to visit, but we have a long queue in front of us to save our travel time, so we did not choose to go in. Interested friends can still go inside to see. 2️⃣ Old Bridge I saw the old bridge at a glance by the Arnault River, the most famous and oldest bridge on the Arnault River connecting the north and south shores of Florence, witnessing the strength and decline of the entire city of Florence. Built in the Middle Ages, it stood out from the baptism of the war and the flood, making it a must-see for travelers to come to Florence. The Old Bridge is now the most famous gold jewelry store in Florence, and almost all of it is handmade by the former shop and the latter. Legend has it that the old bridge is still the place where Dante and his wife met, so there are still many couples on the railing of the bridge, locking the concentric lock to show true love. 3️⃣ Michelangelo Square It takes about half an hour to walk from the old bridge to Michelangelo Square. The square is on the high ground at the southern end of Florence city. Standing on the square, you can overlook the panoramic view of Florence city. You can see the mountains in the distance of Tuscany. With the Arnault River, it is a picture of the green landscape. Of course, the Palace of Vichy, the Cathedral and the New Cross Church. The whole thing adds up to a unique picture of perfection. Here you can see Florence, and even the most beautiful sunset in Italy, I personally think.
