The Planetary is the main centre of dissemination of astronomics in the city. It has a semi-spherical projection room with 360 reclinable boxes and a 20-metre cup in diameter where 8.900 stars, planets and satellites are reproduced and thematic documentary are projected. There are shows all year and for all ages.

I believe it has great potential. It was only 120 pesos in and we were happy to go there but we didn't know what to do or where to go when we walked in. We wanted to have a brochure in English but nothing was found. We couldn't get into the cinema, didn't know the schedule, and nobody pointed out what was special about us. We were really confused and ended up giving up and walking out. We were so disappointed that we couldn't enjoy or understand what they had. Is this really a rogue for us? This is not a good choice for English users - only visitors will be spoken.

beautiful exterior of the planetarium. It is required to have booking in advance prior to the visit though. most info are in Spanish which I hope they would improve to provide English subtitle for international visitors.

Whether you're visiting the Planetario's museum (which contains a moon rock) or dancing to drum circles at the monthly Full Moon Party held outside, you'll be sure to have an excellent time under the stars.

The Planetario of Buenos Aires is located at the Parque Tres de Febrero, in the commonly called Bosques de Palermo. Inside its semispherical dome you can find a projection room where educational activities take place, projecting the space, the planets and stars. At night, the dome get illuminated with many small lights that constantly change of color, making it perfect for a night view or picture.
