Plaza de la Catedral Review

The cathedral, built in Havana from 1748 and completed in 1777, is known as the Cathedral of the Virgin Mary of Havana. This is the ultimate example of Baroque architecture, clearly asymmetrical architecture and bizarre building materials such as corals from the nearby oceans making it one of the world’s most unique churches and one of the most iconic landmarks in the West Indies.

The scale of Havana's cathedral is not very large. There is an open space at the gate called the church. The square is not a lot of people in the church. Basically, I took a photo and left. There are begging people at the entrance of the church to pay attention to the safety of the bag.

Havana Cathedral is more than 200 years old and is one of the oldest churches in the Americas. The entire Havana church has a distinct baroque style and is very simple and elegant. The statues inside are very gorgeous and exquisite, giving people a sacred beauty. It is worth everyone to savor.

The environment is very unique and the style is unified. I like this stylish place.

The Cathedral Square is the most unified square in Havana’s Old Town style, and together with all the surrounding buildings, it forms a Cuban Baroque museum, which includes the charming asymmetric cathedral, the Church of San Cristobal Havana. The church dates back to the early 18th century.

The whole church building is exquisite and neat. After so many years, it is still very beautiful. The details are unparalleled. The sculpture shows the artistic style. The morning sunshine shines on the church and the visitors stop to watch and take pictures.
