The museum is a visual window into the Caribbean slave trade. Watching live bracelets and head rings appear in front of the darkened hall, and looking at some specific dates next to it, the shock is hard to describe. Today, there are still artworks on slavery that must be displayed here if you want to learn about the history of the Bahamas.
