Port Arthur is a small town on a peninsula in southeastern Australia. The Peninsula has a long history, dense trees, beautiful coastline and picturesque scenery. Port Arthur is listed on the Australian National Heritage List, mainly because it was a penal station for repeat offenders in all Australian colonies. Today, all we can see is the ruins of Port Arthur Prison, which were burned down by two forest fires in 1895 and 1897, with only a few ruins. However, the natural scenery here is really beautiful!
