Pura Dalem Bentuyung Temple Review

The entertainment is colorful. The chant sung by the "Monkey Man" is exciting and memorable, and the dancers in Bali are gorgeous in their clothes. If you want to take some pictures of the dancers performing, I highly recommend sitting in the second row of the open-air stands. Also, be sure to take the story about the show, which will help us understand the meaning of the whole dance performance. The temple was closed when we came, but we could also look around. There were no other visitors there and no local special cloth skirts for rent. It's a small temple but the platform inside is lovely and beautiful. There are also a lot of very gorgeous, decorative artworks and traditional musical instruments inside.

For me it turned out to be one of the best temples in Bali, just at Ubud center. Beautiful statues ,sculpures, altars. Locals were preparing the temple for the festivities of the next days, so the flowers works on the typical baskets were embellishing the altars, traditional sarongs on the statues. There was a group of children rehursing the typical gamellan music, this was absolutelly amazing to watch!
