The town of Beihai Qiaogang is close to the famous “first beach in the world” Beihai Yintan. In 1978, China-Vietnam relations deteriorated and more than 10,000 Vietnamese overseas Chinese were expelled, and the Chinese government relocated them here. In 1979, the people's government of Guangxi Autonomous Region approved the establishment of the only town-level administrative region to house returning overseas Chinese, the Qiaogang People's Commune of Beihai City, later renamed Qiaogang Town. The once overgrown desert beach is now a charming seaside town. The Qiaogang Town, which has an area of 1.1 square kilometers and a land area of only 0.7 square kilometers, has become the smallest town in China. Qiaogang Style Street Qiaogang Style Street is located in Qiaogang Town, south of Beihai City. It is the most famous food street in Beihai. Especially at night, it is full of various seafood stalls, which is very lively. Since this area is the residence of Vietnamese diaspora, you can taste many Vietnamese cuisine in Qiaogang Style Street, and the price is not expensive. Qiaogang Style Street is mainly based on Qiaobei Street and Qiaonan Street. It is full of seafood barbecue shops, Guangxi restaurants and various snack bars along the street. You can eat sugar water, barbecue, Vietnamese rolls, spring rolls, screw fried noodles and various seafood barbecue, and the price is generally more affordable. Fengqing Street is not far from Yintan Scenic Area and Qiaogang Beach. In the afternoon, you can go to the beach to enjoy the sunset. In the evening, you can come to Qiaogang Style Street to eat seafood. It is very enjoyable.
