Railay Beach Review

Do pay a visit to this beach if you are in Krabi! Just take a boat trip from Aonang that costs 200 baht for two-ways ticket. It’s much more smaller that Aonang beach but you can get much more of the nature views. Look for Railay Rock Climbing to try out rock climbing in Railay beach. It’s perfect for beginners as the coach is very encouraging and experienced, he would give a step-by-step instructions and trust me, you would be hooked ! There are 3 routes for you to try on. Another good point is that this rock climbing school would bring you to the cave that has an amazing bird eye view of the whole beach. Although the climb is quite challenging but it’s totally worth it ! Not forget to mention, the coach is also a professional photographer as he would tell you how to pose, what to look out for so solo travellers would get nice pictures too! Do catch the sunset at the beach. Just get a drink at the bar beachfront and enjoy the view !

Stopped by on a boat tour. Swam in the sea - very clear! Funny cave/shrine at one end of the beach (lots of wooden statues for fertility)! Nice white sand and cliffs - lots of people rock climbing.

Railay beach is located beside Ao Nang Beach, which is separated by limestone mountain and can excess by boats only. Many people come here for rock climbing activities and also to stay and have a party along this beach.

Worth going if you are in Krabi. The beaches here are stunning to swim and sunbathe on - 100 bhat boat trip from Ao Nang Pier - takes less than 10 minutes.
