Rainbow Village is a bit far away, but it is also good. I thought it was really a relatively large village, but it was actually a bit mini, the house was not high, and there were still a lot of people going, and there was a little gap in my heart.

it's a relatively small residential area. nice artwork but max 15mins there. wouldn't recommend going out of the way but a quick stop to next attraction might be appropriate

Beautifully painted walls and floor, although small, the rainbow village is definitely a great place for photo taking

Colorful as the rainbow. They have available playground for kids. We also bought umbrella and T-shirt as souvenirs. Quality was great!

It's a little inconvenient to get here. Take No. 27 (50 minutes) at the railway station to the six villages in Gancheng, cross the road, go along Chun'an Road, pass the primary school, and turn left into the bottom of the lane. If it's from Taichung, you can take No. 27 to Chaomai Station. It's nearer. Buses usually run half an hour. They are free within 10 kilometres by swiping a yo-yo card. In 2010, a retired grandfather picked up a brush because he was bored and turned his family village into a colorful world, hence the name "Rainbow family village". Facing demolition, the people petitioned together, and the mayor of Taichung decided to keep the village after his personal inspection. Family village is not big, walk around about 10 minutes, but the house was painted on a variety of colorful patterns, and are all with a good moral, such as love or wealth at first sight. The visit is free, but there is also a small box outside Grandpa's house to collect donations, which means that we hope to buy more paint through donations. There is also a stall outside Grandpa's house, which sells some fans, notebooks, folders, postcards and other souvenirs. The price of an umbrella is about NT 880. Occasionally during the day, a mysterious figure dressed in Iron Man costume will take a picture with you. Some people say that to come to the village is to find the feeling of childhood, but with me it is more like when dreams come into reality.
