Vienna City Hall, a typical new Gothic landmark building, is magnificent and layered. It was built in 1872 and completed in 1883. The old town hall in place of Wipplingerstrasse Street. This comes from the architect Friedrich. von. Schmidt. This design has been selected by the competent authorities in many of the best designs for bidding. In the middle is a huge central steeple with two lower side towers on each side. The most attractive features of its front are the tall arched window edges with delicate and elegant graphics and curved balconies. Above the eaves of the window edges stood a very conspicuous three-metre-high warrior statue, dressed in armour and armed with a spear. It was designed by Franz Gastell. People are familiar with the term Rathausman. The building has seven courtyards, and the annual summer concert is held in the Arkadenhof courtyard. On the first floor, two luxurious stairs lead to the Festsaal.
