Riga's central market, known as one of Europe's largest and oldest markets, consists of five large arched buildings. The market is opposite the bus stop. The tall buildings sell various kinds of food, fruits, vegetables, clothes, hats and household goods in different categories. We saw all kinds of sausage cooked meat, smoked fish, cheese, bread and snacks. The goods are displayed orderly and very clean. Local residents buy with their cars and baskets. All kinds of food are good and cheap. Although the shopkeeper can't speak English, he is polite and friendly and communicates with computers. Outside the building, the open-air stalls are mainly fruits and vegetables, fresh strawberries, cherries everywhere, and the market is filled with the aroma of strawberries. We bought some food for lunch.
