里奥阿比塞奥国家公园建于1983年，公园环绕于阿比塞奥盆地周围，二者形成了一个有机的整体。当初建立的目的是为了保护安第斯山脉中潮湿的森林里特有的动物和植物。公园里的动植物具有很强的地方性，这里发现了以前被认为已经绝种的黄尾毛猴。

阿比赛欧河国家公园位于秘鲁共和国，建于1983年，占地27万多公顷，动植物资源丰富，是黄绒毛猴、长毛蛛猴等栖息地，园内有36处查查波雅人（Chachapoya）古遗址。1990年被联合国教科文组织列入世界自然文化遗产。

建造公园是为了保护珍稀动物，只有搞研穷的工作人员可以进入，不对外开放。远处望去，风景秀丽，这一片土地的空气非常好
