Roluos Temples Review

Although it closes at 17:30, it is a peaceful place to watch the sunset. The staff here didn’t urge us to leave and allowed us to take pictures. We left at 6pm but there were still a few people on top. Don’t know when they would leave. Haha

Ankor Wat or Siem Reap Center is quite far east. It takes a long time to ride a bicycle. It is a worthwhile trip. Quietly enjoy the buildings such as Bakong Temple and Shenniu Temple, and there is also a small pond.

We spent a wonderful 3 hours here and ended the day at Bakong Temple. The Red Sandstone Tower of Shenniu Temple is beautiful and Bakong Temple is majestic. It was one of the highlights of our 3-day temple tour and would definitely recommend. The Rollos group is the site of the first capital city of the Khmer Empire and we are honored to visit this historic site. The driver told us that the temple was built in the 9th century and is older than Angkor Wat.

Rolls Group and Collapse Mile belong to the same direction and are far away from buildings such as Angkor, so it's better to arrange a car rental all day. Rolls Group is located about 15 kilometers southeast of Siem Reap City, by the existing Temple of Bagong Temple. Bakong, Temple of Preah Ko, Temple of Lolei. All three temples were built at the end of the 9th century. They were the earliest buildings in the Angkor era lasting about 600 years. They were called Beginning of Classic Period of Khmer Art. They all use the same building structure, carving materials and construction methods.

Lolai is part of the Lolos Site Group. The Lolos Group is divided into three relics, consisting of Bakong, Lolai and Preah Ko, also known as the Shenniu Temple. Located about 12 kilometers southeast of Siem Reap, the Locs ruins were built during the Angkor dynasty in the 9th century AD and are considered the beginning of Angkor's architectural art, whose architectural styles nurtured the important foundation of Angkor's ancient civilization. The Luolei Temple, a red brick building, was the last major temple before the relocation of the capital Angkor. It was originally designed to be built on an artificial island in the center of the reservoir, and is the architectural space in Angkor's building that talks with "water". Since Jelen Samoa I has decided to move to Angkor, the site of Loroz has left unfinished reservoirs and temples. Loroz is under maintenance. Relying on Loroz, it is a newly built temple, how does this modern color compare to the original red?

Shenniu Temple and Bakong Temple, Luolei Temple, together form the Luoluo Temple Group, they are the temple group in the early days of the Angkor Dynasty, located in the southeast of Angkor Temple about half an hour's drive, generally outer circle trips will come here. Around 800 AD, the Khmers built Shenniu Temple and Bakong Temple, and Luolei Temple was built halfway. Suddenly they found a better address - Baken Mountain, so they moved over. It is rare to see the glory of the Angkor Dynasty. We missed the sunset of Baken Mountain, and refused the sunset of Lake Donglisa, and experienced a different quiet dusk in Bakong Mountain.

The Luoluoshi Group is composed of Shenniu Temple, Bakong Temple and Luolai Temple, and is a three-storey corridor structure. Luolai Temple is the most destructive temple, the whole is wrapped in scaffolding, it is difficult to appreciate the exquisite statues; Bakong Temple is the first mature temple building of Angkor Dynasty, the pyramid has five layers, representing Naga, Golden Winged Bird, Rasha, Nightfork and God respectively; each corner of the first to third floor has an elephant, but the trunk is missing, and the fourth floor surrounds twelve. A small shrine pagoda; the central pagoda is Angkor temple style, like a budded lotus flower, and the Tiva goddess on the wall is vivid; the hot-air balloon overlooks a particularly spectacular view - with moats and woods around the square temple; there are six pagodas in Shenniu temple, the central pagoda is dedicated to the holy God Bailimisura, which means the greatest God of heaven;quot; It is another title of Shiva and also the title of King Mayer Bama II, founder of the Angkor Dynasty. The two towers are dedicated to father and grandfather, and the latter three are dedicated to their wives respectively.

Rollos complex is one of the earliest large and permanent temples built by Khmer people, marking the beginning of the Khmer classical art era. There are mainly Shenniu Temple, Bakong Temple and Loire Temple. After the vicissitudes of time, these temples have been damaged to varying degrees. Therefore, it can be called the Rolls site, but its tall ruins still do not lose the grandeur of the year, people can still see a different kind of beauty from the ruins, or people did not say that we should be good at discovering beauty, let alone for this ancient building, reveal the classical beauty everywhere.
