Many of Roskilde's medieval buildings have been destroyed by fire over the centuries, but this majestic twin-spire cathedral still stands in the city center. Founded in 1170, it has been renovated and rebuilt many times, and now represents the style of church architecture from Denmark's millennium and is also listed on the World Heritage List.
