The Royal Melbourne Botanic Garden was built in 1845 and is located about five kilometres south of the city centre of Melbourne. It is one of the best botanical gardens in Australia. The Royal Garden is arranged in the 19th century garden art, and has retained some buildings and styles of the last century. Since the establishment of the Royal Botanic Garden, it has gathered more than 12,000 types and more than 30,000 kinds of exotic flowers and plants from all over the world.
