The Royal Military Academy of Canada (Royal Military College of Canada) was founded in 1876 and has a history of more than 100 years. The first batch of students was only 18 when the school officially opened on June 1. Two years later, Queen Victoria agreed to wear the word "royal" before the college's name. The school is 41 hectares wide, and modern academic, sports, residential facilities are mixed with ancient and historic buildings. Graduates from the Royal Canadian Military Academy are trained and trained to be commanders in the Canadian National Army. Fort Henry is located on a hill not far from the Royal Military Academy, but is not high, but is the commanding height of the area. In 1673, the French established a fortress here (Fort Frontenac), and then burned down by the British in the Seven Years War between Britain and France, and the British built another military fortress, and in the 1812 US-Canada War, Kingston was the command of the British "Five Great Lakes Fleet". After the war, to prevent the attack of the United States, the British built a series of castles and forts along the St. Lawrence River. Fort Henry, because of its position, held the St. Lawrence River into the throat of the Great Lakes, becoming one of the most prestigious fortress. Opened to the outside world since 1938, it has become a famous tourist attraction in Kingston. The fortress has queue drills every hour) as well as military fortress defense artillery shows, rifle shooting shows, etc. But the day we came seemed not open, the door closed, and the cold. But here is condescending, overlooking the entire city, the scenery is still good.
