Located near the center of Krakow, Wawel Castle is the oldest palace in Poland. Since the 14th century, Wawel Castle has been the residence of the king, and many of the king's coronations have been completed here. The coffin of the former Polish president and wife who died in the crash in 2010 was placed in the castle's underground church, the only coffin that can be photographed. The castle includes several independent attractions: State Hall, Royal Private Residence, Royal Treasures and Armoury, Oriental Art Gallery, Lost Waves, Dragon Cave. Each attraction is charged separately and opens at different times. Several exhibition halls are not allowed to take pictures and require storage of bags.
