5th Street in early October (Rua de Cinco de Outubro; Commonly known as the 5th Street of early October, referred to as Simeng Street), located in the west of Macau Road, China. The north end is connected to the junction of Dadmei Shinadi Road and Shalitou Seaside Road, and the south exit is the fire Huantou Street. The 5th Street of early October is formerly known as Simeng Street, which originated from the demolition of Simeng Wharf. The former 5th Street in early October was originally a bay shoal, but later became an inland street after reclamation. In memory of the revolution that took place in Portugal on 5 October 1910, the Portuguese government later renamed it the 5th Street in early October.
