Old St. Mary's Cathedral is one of the three Cathedrals in California, USA. It was completed in 1972 by Pei Yimin, a famous Chinese designer. Its appearance completely abandoned the traditional concept, parabolic white side wall up to 190 feet, showing the sublimation of the soul. The roof resembles a priest's hat, symbolizing the dignity of the pope's crown.
