The Cathedral of Our Lady of Flowers (Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore), also known as the Cathedral of Our Lady of Flowers, Florence Cathedral. It is one of the five cathedrals in the world. Florence means the capital of flowers in Italian. The great poet Xu Zhimo translated it as "Florence", which is far more poetic, more color, and more in line with the temperament of the ancient city than the other translation of "Florence". Located in the historic center of Florence, Italy, the church complex consists of a cathedral, bell tower and baptismal church, and was included as part of the historical center of Florence in 1982 as a World Heritage Site.
