Xiaotaoyuan Mosque, formerly known as the West Mosque of the Muslim halal and the Hui Church of Shanghai Xicheng. Located at No. 52 Xiaotaoyuan Street, Huangpu District, Shanghai, it is the center of Muslim religious and educational and cultural activities in Shanghai. Because the temple is facing Xiaotaoyuan Street, it is named "Xiaotaoyuan Mosque". The temple was first built in 1917. In 1925, it was rebuilt on the site, a four-garden roof mosque with Western Islamic architecture. The worship hall of the Little Taoyuan Mosque is majestic, can accommodate up to 500 people at the same time to worship, the hall is divided into two floors, the hall has a large span vault structure, which is rare in domestic Islamic buildings.
