Shantou Xitang Review

The scenery of Xitang at night is really amazing. The photos taken are as beautiful as oil paintings. The rivers of the bay, the uneven trees on the shore, and the warm sunset are like a palette, setting off the scenery in the evening.

Chenghai Mingyuan "Xitang" was built in Qing Jiaqing four years (1799), and then Yanshi extended the Suzhou garden style during the Guangxu years. Xitang is not available despite a mu, pavilion, rockery lotus pond, living room study, and garden flowers and trees. After the entrance hall, there is a moon hole round door, the door can be seen with red and black stone paved into a mantle-style courtyard ground of Shuangfeng Chao Peony, elegant and quiet, a bend of canals, carved railings around. On the face is a huge rockery. The cave under the mountain, called "Hechao", the original white stork. On the cave, the strange stone, the stone wall engraved with the four words "Autumn water long sky", Cang Jin Junxiu. The stone road under the mountain, twists and turns.

Miniature version of private gardens, before the reform and opening-up era is a must to take photos around Dongli, film "Invincible Mandarin duck legs" one of the shooting spots; unfortunately, the old disrepair, coupled with the impact of the surrounding buildings, has lost the style of the past.
