Shantou Zhongshan Park Review

Shantou Zhongshan Park is the earliest, largest, comprehensive park with deep historical and humanistic connotation in the east Guangdong area, with a total area of 309 mu. The park is surrounded by water, the Moonmei River is surrounded by the park, and the three bridges of Zhongshan Bridge, Moonmei Bridge and Yingchun Bridge connect the park with the urban land. The Yujian Lake in the park is nearly 100 mu, with beautiful scenery and famous at home and abroad. The park is divided into two pieces along the west bank of Yujian Lake. The main attractions are digging lakes and mountains, forming five islands such as Guishan and Sheshan, Jiuqu Bridge, Bibo Bridge, Exhibition Hongqiao, Red Bridge, Huaiyin Bridge, Jade Belt Bridge, Nianhua Bridge, Dingshui Bridge and other 8 bridges of different sizes, spanning water and hills, small bridges and flowing water, very rich in the charm of Chinese classical gardens. The main function is to visit and rest; the western land area is large, and the road is separated as a number of green communities. Planting ornamental trees and flowers is the main place for activities and entertainment in the park. The layout of the whole park is complete, combining Chinese and Western, and combining dynamic and static, bringing together the characteristics of ancient and modern Chinese and foreign gardens. Three garden buildings in the three parks, rockery, and Jiuqu Bridge are known as the "three absolutes" in the park. The archway is 18 meters high, the giant pillar stands, the blue tile is covered, and the majestic, its front is set with four relief gold characters of the "Zhongshan Park" in the handbook, and the back is the four relief gold characters of Mr. Sun Yat-sen's handbook, "the world is the public". Behind the archway is the bronze statue of Mr. Sun Yat-sen. The three-story rockery on the east side of the archway covers an area of 1700 square meters, mainly sea stone, artificially refined, strange stone, winding path, wall caves, high-rise view, the whole garden scenery is unobstructed. The bottom of the rockery retains a relief mural of the "Shantou Shangyu Map" showing the prosperity of Shantou in the 1930s, and has been included in the municipal cultural relics protection unit. Jiuqu Bridge is located at the northern end of Yujian Hubei, with an area of 298 square meters. It is the largest Jiuqu Bridge in China. The bridge has a 10% discount. There are two double-layer main pavilion and two sub-pavilion. The bridge, pavilion and column are organically integrated. Arbour Park has a long history and many monuments, with 11 pavilions of size, of which the largest and most important are Haoran Pavilion and Roseki Pavilion. Haoran Pavilion, located in the north of the park's playground, is a rectangular pavilion, glazed and blue tile, rich in ethnic characteristics, this pavilion was built in 1932, the original site was rebuilt in 1989, and it was built to commemorate the performance of the Standing Committee of the Park Committee Lin Xiuqian. In 2009, it was fully renovated and the scenic environment was fully transformed and beautified to create a peach blossom forest landscape. Located in the children's playground, the ropezhiting, built in 1931, is a 7-meter high, hexagonal straight steel cement western-style pavilion, built to remember the founder of Shantou Hydropower Mr. Gao ropezhi supported the patriotic and volunteer work of the Xinhai Revolution and set up local public welfare undertakings. The Pavilion Flower Palace is located in the southwest of the park (also known as the Flower Exhibition Hall). It was built and opened in 1986. It has passed the third phase of construction. The attraction facilities are becoming more and more perfect. It is an ideal place to watch bonsai and expensive trees.
