Sheng'en Temple Review

Very close to the homestay we stayed in, the staff recommended it, and I feel similar to other temples in Suzhou and other visits. There are a lot of pilgrims. It looks like locals. If you are interested, you can visit Luo.

The Temple of Sheng'en, also known as Tianshou Sheng'en Temple, is located on the mountainside of Chaizhuang Mountain, southeast of Suzhou Guangfu Xuan Tomb Mountain. The "Sanwu Ancient Temple" on the stone plaque upstairs is the general name of Suzhou, Changzhou and Huzhou in the Song Dynasty. The round cypress in front of the temple has a history of 1,800 years and may be the oldest tree in Suzhou. One on the side is also 1,500 years old. The ancient is strong, the tree is straight and full of vitality. Picking up the steps, there is a wide platform on the mountainside, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Taihu Lake. Highlights: Ancient trees support the sky and cultivate the heart. Note tips: There is a military camp on the side, you need to pay attention. Sheng'en Temple is located on the mountainside of Chaizhuangling, southeast of Suzhou Guangfu Xuan Tomb Mountain. It was founded in the Tang Tianbao years and is famous as Tianshou Temple. The "Sheng En Zen Temple" was built next to the Baodi Temple in the Southern Song Dynasty. The temple coexists, so it is also known as Tianshou Sheng En Temple, which was once opened as the upper and lower Taochang. There are five stone arches in front of the main hall, and the three gates are magnificent. Because the ancient temple is located in the military barracks, no documents are allowed to enter, so tourists need to leave their ID cards and return them when they leave. Picking up the steps, I saw three thousand-year-old pine in front of the hall, the round cypress and the Luohan pine have a thousand-year history, still old and strong, the tree is straight and full of vitality. The Polomi Gate on the side of the hall has more than 100-level Han white jade guardrail stone level, directly to the Guanyin Temple above, also known as the Yuantong Temple. In front of the Guanyin Palace, there is a large terrace, which is a great place to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Taihu Lake.
