Soemin Gyi Pagoda Review

If the pagoda is still very beautiful, I think it is too sun-dried at noon and during the day, and I can't take any blockbuster movies. I still have to use the light of the sun to take pictures. And at noon, slippers enter the pagoda, and the ground is too hot.

Why translate the Chinese name of the Buddhist temple to Song Mingji? The pagoda is actually named after a sponsor builder, and the English name is So Min Gyi, but this person is a woman! Translated as Song Mingji, like a man's name, really not suitable, should be called Song Mingji or Song Meiji will be more appropriate. In addition, this temple and other Bagan temples are different, it is surrounded by many buildings is its own, and there is only one building in other famous places, it is worth everyone's attention. :)

I would say this place is worth a stop if there is time. It is close to many other temples so it is easy to see when heading to another temple, the surroundings are very lovely and there are several other buildings in the group. It is near Changyong, but if you are not careful, it is easy to pass by. There are many small living rooms separated by bricks that seem to be for rent. The bricks have collapsed but the stairs make it possible to climb. Because there are few shadow areas, the bricks are hot during the day and it is difficult to walk barefoot. I think it's a good thing to visit when it's not hot.

It is said that the pagoda is only a few broken walls, especially the front part, which has only half of the base, but he is still one of the few that can climb up. Haha, even if it is just a little higher than the surrounding buildings. You can come here in the morning and evening to see the sunrise and sunset, but personally feel that the trees are too blocked and the landscape is not too good.

Close to a pagoda in Xinbagan, we went early, and after entering, there were tower guards to welcome us to visit. Although the platform here is not high, the view is good. My favorite is the three-faced Buddha statue in the pagoda, and the murals behind it are also very bright.
