The pagoda is located in Tianma Mountain Scenic Area, Sheshan Town, Songjiang District, Shanghai. It was built in the second year of Yuanfeng, Northern Song Dynasty (1079). It is made of brick and stone. It has seven stories and eight corners and is 18.82 meters high. With the change of foundation in the past thousand years, the tower body tilted to the southeast. By 20I5, the top of the tower deviated 2.28 meters and the inclination degree was 7.IO. The inclination of the tower exceeded that of the Italian Leaning Tower of Pisa, which became a great wonder in Shanghai.
