We had lunch in Bordeaux (it was just next door) to visit the palace house (the house after seven mistakes). The owner (the great grandson of the man who built it) was very welcoming and explained every detail of the house for 130 years. Although it needs renovation, it is urgently needed and it is beautiful and definitely worth a look!
