St. Michael's Uniting Church Review

St Michaels Church is situated on the corner of Collins Street and Russell Street, surrounded by modern buildings taller than it is. It was built in early 1870 and the exterior walls are brick, giving the church a unique appearance. I was impressed by the outside of the church, but unfortunately the day I went there, the church was not open to the outside world. If you want to visit the inside of the church, it is recommended to check the opening time in advance. I don’t know if this church is open to tourist groups.

This charming church is located on Collins Street, just a short walk from Swanston Street or a tram. Once inside this charming church, you can feel a sense of calm. There are beautiful stained glass windows, superb arcades, beautiful wooden benches and altars. There will be a free, very heady organ concert at 1pm on Thursday. Mingeri (a quiet place) is situated on the side of St. Michael's Russell Street.

First of all, the church is a Christian church (that is, Protestant church. Protestant churches are different from Catholic churches after the Reformation, which is the old church), and the exterior is decorated with colored stone. The interior is characterized by the two floors of the congregation, which looks very much like a theater. There is a group of organ, which plays on Sundays with solemn and sacred feeling.

On Collins Avenue, a famous commercial street in downtown Melbourne, a cathedral catches the attention of passers-by. It was built in 1866 "St. Michael's Union Church", also known as "St. Michael's Union Cathedral". Even though it has such a long history, it is still open to the local people to come here for Mass. This is Melbourne, where there is a sense of classical and modern cross-cutting, which is the most unique urban aesthetics here.

St. Michael's United Church is the largest and tallest Catholic Church in the southern hemisphere. It has a rich collection of Arts and crafts, including meticulous painted windows and panes. The magnificence and dignity of the Catholic Church are highlighted by its skillful woodcarving and masonry craftsmanship.
