St. Stephen s Cathedral Traffic: Get on the U1 Metro at Vienna Central Railway Station and get off at Stephansplatz Station, and you'll see the monster as soon as you leave. St. Stephen's Cathedral is a city landmark in Vienna and one of the most famous scenic spots. It can be visited in two ways: the elevator can take visitors to the sightseeing platform of the North Tower, where the bronze bell of the Pumelin Cathedral is located. Another way to appreciate the beauty of this place is to climb the 343-step gyration ladder, which is about 137 meters high. It was built at the end of the 12th century and has a high spire of 137 meters, second only to the Cologne Cathedral in Germany. The architectural style of the whole church is a peculiar mixture. The main entrance facing the west is Roman style, the steeple is Gothic style, and the altar is Baroque style. It is the result of people's continuous rebuilding and construction over four centuries. However, I did not go up because there was no strategy at that time. The church was crowded with people, and its high towers were surrounded for maintenance. On the notice board, I saw that Mass would begin at 10:30 a.m. the next Sunday, so I saw another Mass ceremony the next day and heard the sounds of the choir, which is better than visiting the church.
