Situated on Place St. Sulpice within Rue Bonaparte, this edifice is a Roman Catholic church also dedicated to St Sulpice. It is the second church built on this site, erected over a Romanesque church originally built in the 13th century. The church is popular with The Da Vinci Code fans so much so the Church put up notices refuting claims made in the novel and eventually also refused permission to Ron Howard to film scenes of the movie there.
